Mixology: "The Brookside" - A Chocolate-Blueberrie Martini

Welcome back to the almighty Gauntlet of Balthazar, and the first in a long abscence in the "mixology" category of this eclectic blog.

I'm calling today's idulgence "The Brookside" as a homage to the fruit covered candies manufactured by the company that bears the same moniker. I could only be so lucky to gain the notoriety of being sued for copyright infringement, but the taste of this cocktail is all but uncannily reminiscent of the chocolate blueberry covered edition of the confection of the same name.

As usual, I call dibs on the name and creation, but gift it to the world to enjoy or critique as each person sees fit.

To make "The Brookside", you will need:

1 1/2 ounces of fresh blueberries
Puree the blueberries in 1 1/2 ounces of Simple Syrup
Add 1 ounce of Creme de Cacao
Add another ounce of (ideally Tito's) Vodka

Enjoy.

Till next time.
